The Awakening of the Marmots

Excursion to a marmot area within the Alt Pirineu Natural Park. We will discover the curiosities, characteristics, and adaptations of this alpine mammal and try to observe it with terrestrial telescopes. Come and enjoy the wild high mountain landscape!

It is a 1 km rocky path route with 112 meters of positive elevation gain. The meeting point is at the porch of MónNatura Pirineus at 9 a.m. or at the Bonaigua parking lot of the Baqueira-Beret ski resort at 9:30 a.m. In both cases, you must arrive at the parking lot by private car.

It is recommended to bring a comfortable backpack, mountain footwear, water, and sunscreen.

Prices: €20 adults and €14 children aged 3 to 12.

Duration: 2.30 hours

Recommended age: from 7 years old.
