The deer rut

The deer rut is one of the most remarkable autumn spectacles to witness. We’ll venture out in the evening to listen to the roars of the males during their full mating season in the Alt Pirineu Natural Park. Our journey will take us to the village of Gavàs, where we’ll park our cars and walk approximately 800 metres. Along the way, we’ll start exploring the world of deer. Finally, we’ll reach the listening point, where we’ll spend approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Recommended age: 7 years and older

Schedule: 16, 23 and 30 September 2023, at 5:30 pm, and 17 and 24 September at 7:00 am 1 and 8 October 2023, at 7:00 am, and 7, 12, 13 and 14 October at 4:30 pm Please be aware that the schedules may change according to sunrise or sunset times.
